    For anyone planning on traveling to Rome or vicinity (or who lives there already), the Lazio Region has just made an App available for tourists. I have not tried it yet, but I will and will definitely report back next time I am in Rome. This is what local tourists boards should be doing everywhere to get people to come and visit. I hope this one is well made so we can (hopefully) avoid stumbling into the too often true stereotypes about Italian Aesthetic vs. Italian Practicality. If anyone tries it out before I get back to Rome and can test it myself, please drop a note and let me know if it was useful or needs work.
